EMOTIONS
I just finished watching the episode of Cold Case that I taped earlier this week and geez, it's just a top quality show. I think out of the TV shows on , this is the one that can easily invoke the most emotions outta me. It's always at the end when they play the slow haunting music whilst doing the flashbacks that really gets me. And it was a tear jerker this week when they played "i hope you dance" against a collage of a naive young girl killed in a bank robbery.
Watched CLICK over the weekend as well. Top flick and it ain't just because Kate Beckinsale looked SEEEEEEXXXXXYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in her nightie. Well it played a huge part in my movie rating but it also had some pretty darned emotional moments as well. Dunno whats happening to me, get a grip........

YOUTUBE.COM
It's the bomb I tellsya , the bomb! I spent nearly 3 hrs on it yesterday going through old music videos , wrestling highlights and punkd cips. It's awesome. Found that clip of Michael lambasting Gretel from Big Brother after being evicted which I missed.
Other things I looked for and found:
- spud webb slam dunk from 86 dunk fest
- nate robinson slam dunk OVER spud webb from this years slam dunk fest
- maria sharapova swimsuit shoot :P
- jessica alba interviews aplenty
- stevie nicks "rooms on fire" video clip ; love the song
Looking for:
- clip of that practical joker who had his photo taken with the Manchester United team.

MY BEST FRIEND
I popped over to the GOOD GUYS at Bankstown to send my dvd recorder off for repairs(see previous blog). Whilst I was waiting for assistance at the counter, I heard someone yell out my name. Looked around, nope, couldn't find out the source. There it was again, I looked across the counter, looking across at me with a huge grin was my childhood best friend Anthony(he's Italian). Man, all the memories came flooding back, hadn't seem him since probably about 94. We had the standard chat about what we're doin now etc. Found out he is living in Fairfield now and spent 9 months in France. Tried to squeeze as much into a 5 minute session as we could before we departed ways. Gave him my business card and told him to buzz me sometime for a catchup or a game of tennis.
But I've been reminicsing all afternoon. We were best friends from probably about year 4 til year 10. We went to primary and then highschool together before he went to De La Salle in yr 10 and me to Sefton. From that time we drifted apart and before you knew it, we had lost all contact. But we had soooo many good memories together. We started playing tennis together and my love of sports developed from playing with him. We started lessons together and then played comp together for many many years. I can vividly remember the sound of his old man's nissan patrol coming around the corner to pick me up for Sat morning tennis. In terms of physical appearance, I was also much smaller then the other kids and Anthony was chubby for many years but I proudly always boast to him that in those years we played tennis, he had never ever beaten me in a match over more then 1 set. Never. I use to keep the record on my watch. I still remember it, it was something like 53-0. I remember he used to hate it cause he used to get the best gear and stuff and could never beat me.
A big tradition we used to do was we use to alternate coming over each other's house on sundays and whoever was coming over would bring a bag full of cheese and bacon rolls.
I only remember having one spat with him ever, I can't remember what was the cause but I remember there was a bit of push and shove in science class one day and we both got sent outside. I remember the science teacher giving us a server saying we were best friends and all. But we made up straight away.
But the good times were great. We use to have tennis training on Fridays and then during summer would rock back to my place for cricket with some of the other guys. I remember we both wanted earrings cause we thought they were so cool (I call it the Agassi phase) so we got fake earrings. He would go on to get a real one later on.
Gee, I can wax lyrical all day about the stuff we used to get up to. They were some of the best times of my life. Whether I do see him again or not, I'll never forget the times that we shared. I'll never forget him......
