HOLIDAYS UNDER WAY!
Yay, finally on Holidays! Time to chill, shop and get a tan. Oh and continue looking for a new job after the new year.
Friday nite was spent at Bar Terrazza (??) or whatever it's called at World Square for Mary-Ann's bday. A couple of the guys headed to watch King Kong after dinner - heard it was a kickass movie. A close shave on the way home later that nite. Was driving some friends home when a car cut in front of us and I almost crashed into it. Close call. Good thing it was my friends car which was a european peugeot manual and all the freakin buttons and indicators were in the wrong place! Hadn't driven a manual for ages so I made sure I went extra slow so I averted what could have been a bad start to the holidays.
Saturday nite, had homemade pizza at Dave and Twee's. Full credit to Dave, everyone knows I hate alcohol but he made this awesome cocktail that I thought was really kickass. Forgot what he called it. Had lychees in it I think. It was pretty darned good.
Hit the beach for the first time this summer for Alex's bday. With all the hoopla about the race riots and all, I thought it would be a tough time getting to Clovelly hotel for lunch but I guess all the police operations were in opposing suburbs cause Clovelly was free of any road blocks. It was a nice setting for lunch. Alex ended up getting an ipod mini. He looked pretty stoked. Headed down to the beach for some snorkelling. It was my first time at Clovelly. Never realised how small it was. But we had a fun time nonetheless, and the weather held out. Ahhhh, let the good times roll......

TIDBITS
- After a frustrating month on the sidelines, I made it back on the field tonite albeit gingerly since tearing my patella muscle in my knee. I won't be stepping for a few weeks yet, just trying to get the feel back into my knee. It felt alrite though I won't be able to hit full throttle until after the new year.
- I start my holidays at the end of this week, woot!
- I've been listening to too much GORILLAZ!
- Will be hitting the beach for the first time this summer on Sunday. Doin some snorkelling at Clovelly.
- it will be a long wait until the 10th *sigh*
