Damn I love this quote!!!!!!!!!
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequites of
the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of
charity and goodwill sheperds the weak through the valley of darkness,
for he is truly his brother's keeper and a finder of lost children. And I
will strike down with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt
to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord
when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Today had to be close to the windiest day I've ever experienced. It was absolutely blowing a gale all day. I planned to sleep in til noon but the wind was blowing with such force that it woke me up at 9am. Blasted wind!
Boy, was I looking forward to this weekend. Work just dragged on all week and I didn't seem to sleep well all week.
Thu celebrated her 25th at Chambers. After a bite at Veda bar, we headed off to Chambers to party the night away. I decided a month or 2 ago to officially give up alcohol. I had tried hard to build up an immunity but I just can't sink the suckers without turning as red as a tomato. I've come to the realisation that alcohol is not for me so I now stick to my lemonades. It was a good evening in all, met some nice new people and chatted the night away. On the way home, we walked past Central station and there was this dude with a poor man's Willie Mason afro. Jemaine took a gander and recognised him from Australian Idol. Checked out the program tonight and it was indeed the dude. I think his name is "Guy".
Saturday was Natalie's birthday and we headed up to Berowra Waters to go to the Waterview - for a seafood buffet no less. The roads up to the joint were long and winding, somehow reminding me of the trek up to Jenolan caves. To make matters worse, we were in the middle of a downpour so it made driving really tough. As for the food, it was a really good feed. The selection wasn't huge but what was available was really nice and really well presented. The place itself was really nice. Very cosy, very moody, would definitely be a great place to bring your date, if only it weren't so damn far. Many an oyster and prawn was consumed until we bid adieu and headed back to the bright lights of Parra for some Karaoke, or Kok as some people refer to it nowadays. By now, it was really bucketing down and driving was really getting quite dangerous and Paulie's car was fogging up a bit. I was relieved we made it to Parra in one piece.
It was a big turnout at Kok and a lot of noise was made. As per usual, I got my one Chicago song in. That's all I ask. The alcohol continued to flow freely and everyone was getting really tipsy, especially the birthday girl.
But hey, I suppose you sing better drunk don't ya?
5 days til the dogs play Canberra at the Showground. Got the tix, got the jersey. Game on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

# The following blog contains sexually explicit details
What a MARVELLOUS weekend. Aboslutely awesome. Had a bucks party on Sat night and what a night it was. Bucks parties are a rite of passage for any young man about to enter the wonderful world of marriage and it's up to his mates to give him a night he will never forget. The night would indeed turn out to be memorable.
We booked a function room at the Sunnybrook hotel firstly to start off our not so wholesome evening. The place looked like a old persons bingo hall. It didn't take long for the boys to hit the bourbon and cokes. Yours truly being the designated driver could only sit back and watch as my associates slowly became inebriated. The girls came at 9pm. Had a quick look and they didn't look all too flash hot in their baggy clothes. 15 minutes later, that opinion was reversed as they came out chock full of makeup and skimpy clothes. Show on! Been to a few bucks parties and I have to go on record as saying this was hands down the best show I have seen. It was absolutely kickass. The girls were twins and they came out in dominatrix gear and skimpy maids clothing. The show had everything and the girls did everything to each other hehehe. There were dildo's, plastic gloves and vaseline aplenty. The bucks had vaseline poured down his backside and the dildo shoved in his mouth after the girls had used it on them hehehe. The absolutely best thing was the audience participation. The girls chose random guys and shoved their goodies in their faces. It was classic looking at some of the reactions. I now know what silicon enhanced breasts feel like. But alas, all good things must came to an end and the show wound up much to the displeasure to most of the crowd. 10 minutes later, we had a single woman wet and wild show. It was ok but not as good as the first show.
The party then moved on to Sefton Playhouse. Many a bucks night had ended at Men's Gallery in the city and Sefton Playhouse seemed like a cut down version of MG. There was one particular girl that caught the attention of the guys and she reaped most of our dancing dollars. There was a lack of girls that night. The first one we saw had the sexy secretary look but she left quickly. We bought the bucks a private show at $15 a pop. After 2 hrs at the playhouse, many of us were in the mood to continue on. The bucks was nowhere near drunk yet.
Just when we thought it couldn't get any seedier, we headed off to a *ahem* place at Liverpool called 102.
It was now 2am. The services offered at this place was the works(sic). However, some of the girls did look quite ordinary. We chipped in and chose a tall lanky aussie for our friend at $120 bucks for half an hour. He however just requested a nice clean massage from the lass.
We finished off with some late nite maccas and headed home, tired but happy after a great evening. Now to wait for those photos.......
Slept in most of Sunday. Was really quite buggered. Went to have La fornaia for dinner with Irene, Suzanne, Twee, Dave and Chi. It was yummo. Then with my belly fulla pizza, headed off to play tennis. It was nice to have a hit after a long absence. Got home and watched my tape of the Dogs smashing the Eagles. El MAsri kicked 35 goals in a row. Well done Champ! A great weekend.
Now, got Thu and Natalie's birthdays to look forward to on the weekend.

The dogs have scored 40+ points in their last five matches. I'm happy as larry! We're coming up to the one yr anniversary of the salary cap scandal. It's made the whole team and club stronger. Proud to be a Bulldog.

Going to the gym can be therapeutic, but it's a constant mental challenge. Had a frustrating week and I really let it out at the gym and it felt so damn good. Still, I won't allow the weight to beat me. The worst damn feeling in the world is to have that weight stop moving on you. You have to fight and snarl to prevent that cold piece of steel from whuppin' your ass. If I feel that starting to happen, I'll spit, scream, lie in a puddle of sweat with snot dripping down my chin, but -man! - that sonofabitch is going up!

I love sport, always have and always will until my last breath. Sport can lift your spirits when you are down, it can give you meaning and it can cap off a great weekend. Playing , watching it , it doesn't matter, if sport were a religion, I would convert now!
The dogs hammered the hapless Rabbitohs at the SFS today by a massive 62-12 scoreline. It was an all class performance. The boys were too big and too strong. The biggest dog of them all, the big Willie just steamrolled over poor Rabbitoh after Rabbitoh. His supporting class of the Ogre, the Lobster and the Box also contributed heavily. ( love footy nicknames ). It was heaven for any hardcore dogs fan.
El Masri kicked 11 goals from 11 to set a new club record. The guy is the new superboot.
Our oztag team is on fire. We have won 6 games from 6 matches this year and are leading the comp. Last week was a brutal encounter against a team that tried to barge us out of the match but we showed enough composure to hang on to a gritty and well fought 2-1 win. The boys have really gelled and we are playing some inspiring football. We want to continue this roll on and go all the way!
Mundine fights Echols on Wed. I'm still deciding whether or not to order the Pay per view. Blasted, can't believe it's being shown on a Wed instead of a Sat. Then, you could easily go and watch it at your local with no time constraints. The match nonetheless should be a beauty. Boxers are in the top tier of atheletes on the planet. They earn every cent they get. To put your body through that sorta punishment day in and day out is hard. But boxing can also be graceful when you have the best of the best going head to head. Bring it on baby!
