It's been a while since I wrote something here. Saw T3 again last nite. I enjoyed it more the 2nd time. In the second viewing you can pay more attention to the finer details in the movie and I picked up a few plot intricacies I didn't in the first viewing. The crane chase scene gets me every time, just brilliant. Kristanna, wow , I sure can't get enough of her. She's breathtaking! Still have a gripe on the running time of the movie. Needed to be around 50mins longer. Am now looking forward to American Wedding and Pirates of the Carribean.

Went to have a nice Thai dinner at Newtown on Friday night. Very nice setting but unusual to have a restaurant at the back of the bank hotel. On the way out, caught a glimpse of the man Shifty Sherwin who looked like he was having a few quiet drinks with the boys. Gave him a quick "good luck for Sunday" and continued on my way. It musta worked cause Shifty had a blinder and the boys again notched up 40+ points against the Cowboys. Semi's , here we come.

We're 5 from 5 in Oztag. Put in a simply awesome performance last week and we are just on fire. Confidence is high, enthusiasm is high and morale is just generally great. It will take a really good team to beat us.

Robert is getting married end of next month and already the boys are planning his bucks night. It looks like it's gonna be one sordid affair by the sounds of things. Can't wait :p

If the dogs win Friday Night Football, my weekend always starts off with a bang. The dogs put in a great performance defeating a depleted Broncos side 40-4. Yes, the Broncs had players out but so did the dogs and it's hard going into a game mentally knowing that everyone expects you to win. Just ask the Tigers in the corresponding game last year.

I joined Dave , Thuy , Yui , Minh and Jemainium for a game of soccer on Sat arvo. We ended up driving to the wrong park. Jem said Henley park but we ended up going to a Henley park 2 suburbs away. Minh and Yui loaded up on junk food before the match. I could never eat before sport, I usually always get a stitch if I do.
Met Sean from my old workplace at the Soccer match. He's a fast bugger. It was a really enjoyable game and great to be back on the field. With Oztag being called off due to poor weather for the last 3 weeks, I desperately needed to do some hardcore running to maintain my fitness. We ended up playing touch footy at the end. Good fun in all.

Headed off to Republican Hotel at nite for some dancing and partying. Boy, were there some goodddddd looking women there! Place was packed. Body to body almost. No complaints here :p
Met a lot of faces there I hadn't seen in a while. Keith and Masato and my man Egg aka Brendon Wong. I never realised it before but Brendon looks exactly like the asian basketballer Yao Ming. It's uncanny.
Caught a glimpse of the rugby score, Aussies lost to the Springboks, pfft, Rugby , who cares!
My legs slowly felt the effect of 3 hrs of sport earlier in the day. We ended up leaving at 2:30. Although we did have to wait for Jemaine who chose the last minute to get picked up hehehehe.
Had to rush home cause Julie was feeling really sick. She called me today to say it was food poisoning but she has recovered. Poor girl.

The dogs hammered Newcastle 48-14. It was the boys best win of the season. Watching a replay of the game, everyone put in and it was a truly satisfying victory. I really really enjoyed the win.

Paul had his birthday party on Sat. It was a good night. Re-acquinted myself with Taboo after an absence of almost 4 years. It was great fun. Played charades for the first time as well and that was a whole lotta fun as well. Very competitive game and my team of Dave, Twee, Van and Quang really put in a top notch effort just falling 14-12. Carol came up with the winning guess - quite a good charades player she is. I wouldn't mind playing more charades in future, it was really great fun.

Ah crap, back to work tomorrow.

Terminator 3 , Terminator 3, Terminator 3....... That's all I can think about at the moment. This movie has been 11 years in the making.

I must have read over 200 fan reviews over the past 2 days since it's release in the US and 95% of them are raving at the film. Even those naysayers who were predicting death and gloom due to the non-involvement of James Cameron have applauded the film. The film has a lot to live up to seeing as it's predecessors are action benchmarks and timeless classics.

I'm restless at the moment. I'm dying to see it. I haven't anticipated a movie this much for years. Trying hard to ask around asking if any cinemas will be doing preview screenings. I don't know if I can wait 2 weeks until it's official release. The machines are ready to rise......
