DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

Holy crap, that was pretty darned good. Live up to the hype? Yeh, I'll say it did.
And Teri Hatcher has lost nothing in 10 years since 'Lois and Clark' . NOTHING!

KIDS

My cousin Nicole is 5 and she's just the most gorgeous thing. I adore her. Everytime I get to see her, I always think to myself "I can't wait til I have kids of my own".
I remember when she use to cry hysterically at the sight of me. But now that she's a bit older and knows who I am we get on famously. Her mum's quite the fashionista
so Nicole's always dollied up in nice gear and looks glam for a 5 yr old. I can tell she's gonna be heartbreaker in her teenage years. She tells me in broken english that her best friend in pre school is a boy so naturally I rib her a bit about him, trying to make as much sense as I can to a 5 year old. But she just looks at me and says "I dunno" with her cute baby black eyes.

Every now and then I take out my baby pics and and ponder. My dad use to have hippie like long hair so I give him a roasting for that. He and my mum use to look so forlorn and it brings a tear to my eye because they had nothing when I was a kid and now we enjoy a comfortable life. They say your whole perspective of life changes when you have a child. It's something I'm really looking forward to.

I BEAT FEDERER!

In my dreams I did! Had a great dream last nite that I was a young superstar taking the tennis world by storm. A young punk kid , in the same mould as a teenage Andre Agassi. I had the long flowing locks, studded earrings , lava flowing shirt, denim pants and lava bike pants. I was the rock star of the tennis world and I got to play Federer in the 3rd round of the Australian Open. He was the king , I was the Australian hope. An asian Australian who had taken the public by storm with my breathtaking ground strokes and on court flair. Breathing light and adding excitement to the tournament. Being my dream, of course I handed roger his a$$ on a silver platter , straight sets no less.

*sigh* it was a great dream.

CMON AUSSIE CMON

I'm going with some friends to see the Aus vs Pakistan one dayer next Sunday. I'm really looking forward to it. This is the first one dayer I've been to in 5 yrs. The last one I went to was an interesting affair. It was the Aussies vs Sth Africa. I remember it rained heavily that morning and I was certain it would be called off. But by midday, the sun came out in a big way and it was scorching so we headed off to the match. I remember sitting in the now blistering sun whilst the officials adjudicated on whether the match would go ahead due to the outfield being really wet. I remember getting really badly sunburnt by the time they decided that the outfield and pitch were in a state no conducive to safe play and would be called off. They returned the next day to replay the match and also offered refunds. I remember getting the refund as I had to work the next day.

I won't be getting sunburnt this time around. Let's just hope the Aussies bat first as well!

HAWAIIAN SHIRTS

"There are two types of people who wear hawaiian shirts. Big fat party animals and gay people" says Homer Simpson in all his wisdom. I am neither but I've always thought they were cool. Riss vehemently suggested against me going anywhere near them. Against her better judgement, I purchased 2 spankingly colourful Hawaiian shirts. One a cool aquaish blue and another yellowish-orangy colour for a bargain price of 15 bux apiece. Thankfully there's still some summer time left to wear them around.

Touch footy pic[original size]

I'm on the last week of holidays now. My mum has been complaining how dark I've become from all the time spent out in the sun. She wants me to stay home more.
Unlikely.

I dread going back to work next week. I wanna take another 2 weeks off.

I'll be heading back to the gym this week. I've eaten so much junk and not done much exercise that I'm getting pudgy. It's time to shape up before oztag and touch resume in the coming weeks.
