JC , Quach , Mach and I went down to Bankstown Sports club to cheer on the dogs against the warriors. We were confident going into the match. 2 hrs later, we all left shattered as our team went down. Basically ruined our evening. Decided to go La Fornaia to eat away our sorrows with some wood fired pizza goodness. Too down trodden to party on so we all called it an early night.

Returned to the club on Sunday to watch Shane Moseley win a 15-113 points decision over the golden boy Oscar De Lay Hoya. Twas a good fight and it could have easily ended up in a draw.

GUTTED is how I'm feeling at the moment. We lost our oztag grand final 7-2. After a record breaking season that included 9 wins in a row and the best defence in the comp, we tripped at the final hurdle. We gave the opposition too much latitude and they led 6-0 at half time. And from that point on , it was a struggle to claw our way back seeing as though we win our games through defence. It reminded me of the Parra team from 2001 who were unbeatable until the last and most important match.

Our only consolation was that we won the 2nd half 2-1 but it was a real hollow feeling.

Shark Park was brimming on Saturday night. A huge contingent of dogs fans made the journey up to cheer our team on. Great great atmosphere. Dogs prevailed 28-14, although not entirely impressive, we got the job done. Bring on the finals!

We are in the OZTAG grand final!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an absolute WAR tonite. Being the minor premiers, we got the luxury of 2 shots at the cherry. We lost our first game of the season last week and unfortunately, went down in our first match against the number 2 ranked team 3-2. They scored down the sidelines with a few minutes left.

We regrouped, rested for 40 minutes, and then came out and played the match of our lives. It was brutal to say the least. Bodies were battered and bruised in a physical encounter. Our junior player Kev fell heavily and his whole right side of his face was bruised and battered. Our opposition were frustrated and tried to belt us out of the match but we stood tall and prevailed 3-1. The victory is one to savour.
